LaunchThatGame

Privacy

The short, honest version: LaunchThatGame stores as little as the features need.

Without an account

Your “My Game” profile (Steam tags, genre, price, flags, analysis month) lives in the page URL and in a cookie in your browser; nothing is stored on our servers. Clear the profile or your cookies and it’s gone.

With an account

We store, in a database we operate:

  • your email address (for sign-in links and, if enabled, weekly alerts);
  • if you connect Steam: your public SteamID64, persona name, avatar URL and country, but never your password (Steam sign-in happens entirely on steampowered.com);
  • your game profiles (the same tags/genre/price data as the cookie);
  • your alert settings (per-profile toggles, optional Discord webhook URL) and a log of which alerts were already sent, so we never send the same one twice.

If you use “Suggest tags from my library”, we read your public Steam library once to compute suggestions. Nothing from it is stored.

What we don’t do

  • No ads, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing of data.
  • No password storage: sign-in is by email link or Steam.
  • Emails are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider.

Deletion

Account → Danger zone → Delete my account removes everything above immediately and permanently. Every alert email also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
